Day 01 :

Arrival in Addis Ababa – Fly to Bahir Dar

Arrive in Addis Ababa and take a morning flight to Bahir Dar.
Visit the stunning Blue Nile Falls (Tis Issat).
Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Tana, exploring the historic island monasteries such as Ura Kidane Mehret.
Overnight stay in Bahir Dar.

Day 02 :

Bahir Dar – Drive to Gondar

Depart for Gondar (about 3 hours by road).
Explore the Royal Enclosure, home to the 17th-century castles of Emperor Fasilides and his successors.
Visit the beautifully decorated Debre Berhan Selassie Church.
See the historic Fasilides Bath.
Overnight stay in Gondar.

Day 03 :

Gondar – Fly to Axum

Take a morning flight to Axum, Ethiopia’s most ancient city.
Visit the Stelae Field, featuring towering obelisks from the Axumite Empire.
Explore the Church of St. Mary of Zion, said to house the Ark of the Covenant.
Discover the Queen of Sheba’s Palace and King Ezana’s Inscriptions.
Overnight stay in Axum.

Day 04 :

Axum – Fly to Lalibela

Take a flight from Axum to Lalibela, home to Ethiopia’s most famous rock-hewn churches.
Explore the first group of rock-hewn churches, including Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, and Bet Giyorgis.
Experience an unforgettable sunset view from Bet Giyorgis.
Overnight stay in Lalibela.

Day 05 :

Lalibela – Fly to Addis Ababa & Departure

Visit the second group of rock-hewn churches in the morning.
Optionally, take an excursion to Yemrehanna Kristos Church, a beautifully preserved cave church.
Fly back to Addis Ababa.
Enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant with cultural music and dance.
Transfer to the airport for departure.
