Itininaries
Arrive at Bole International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Explore Addis Ababa, visiting the National Museum (home to the famous "Lucy" fossil), the Holy Trinity Cathedral, and the Ethnological Museum. Enjoy panoramic city views from Entoto Hill. Overnight stay in Addis Ababa.
Depart south along the Rift Valley, stopping at Lake Ziway for birdwatching. Continue to Lake Langano, known for its unique brown waters and relaxing beach. Enjoy swimming or a nature walk around the lake. Overnight stay at a lodge near Lake Langano.
Drive to Bale Mountains National Park via Shashamane. Stop at Dinsho, the park’s headquarters, where you’ll spot wildlife such as the mountain nyala, Menelik’s bushbuck, and warthogs. Enjoy a short guided trek in the Gaysay Grasslands. Overnight stay in Dinsho Lodge or a local guesthouse.
